Monday, July 20 – Thursday, July 23:
Summer Session 1
Students will primarily be outside in the morning, break for
lunch from 12:15 - 1:00 p.m., and then continue to work on music
indoors until 4:00 p.m.
Students need to be in good mental/physical shape for
camp! Make sure
your student is well hydrated and well fed in the days leading
up to and during camp.
Goal for the July camp is to get through the show opener.
You are invited to come and listen to the opener in the
PAC the last ½ hour or so of camp on Thursday.
Monday, August 10 – Friday, August 14 &
Monday, August 17 – Friday, August 21:
Summer Session 2
These two weeks constitute approximately 35-40% of our rehearsal
time in general.
So, your student’s attendance at this (and the July camp) is
CRUCIAL! The goal
for the August camp will be learning drill and getting through
the opener both musically and visually.
The schedule for these two weeks will follow
July’s…outside in the morning working on drill and inside during
the afternoon practicing music (break for lunch from 12:15 –
1:00 p.m.).
Lunches during camp will cost $4-$5 per day.
THERE WILL BE NO IOU’S ACCEPTED THIS YEAR!!!
Have your students remember to bring their $$$, their own
lunch, or they will be provided with peanut butter & jelly
sandwiches.
The dress code for camp consists of plain white t-shirts, dark
shorts, and athletic shoes.
This will be the standard attire for rehearsals
throughout the year.
Also, don’t forget your water, sunscreen, sunglasses and
hat!!!
