Volunteer Help Wanted
We need additional CDL Drivers this coming season
Lea este artículo en español
CDL-A driver needed to drive our
semi tractor trailer next season and beyond. Our current driver, Dave McNair, will be around for one more season.
His daughter in the Regiment will be a senior next year. With the scare we had this season with Dave's emergency surgery,
we recognize the need for a co-driver to assist him next season. The driving is very easy. There is some time required
to pick up and then drop off the trailer and tractor, but otherwise very fun and simple. Dave will be more than happy
to help train some help.
A driver that already has his/her license and some experience is the optimal situation. But, Mr. Cox does recognize
the need for a driver and will offer some incentives, such as subsidizing some or all of the cost of training,
to help someone get their CDL. There would be some stipulations for this, the major one being how long the person's
student(s) will be in the Regiment. Someone who has a young Regiment member with brothers or sisters right behind
would be the best situation.
Please seriously consider this. We have been very fortunate our first seven years to have CDL drivers.
It would be horrible if we had to revert back to box trucks for the lack of a driver of the semi.
Please contact Dave McNair at tchsbandparents@hotmail.com if you are interested.
On-Campus Concessions Managers Wanted too!
Mark Frye, our On-Campus Concessions Chair, is seeking Assistant
Managers to help with some of the tasks in this important Band fundraising function. Did you know that all the profit
from Football concessions goes to the Band program? And that Concessions the rest of the year help to raise funds for
student accounts (if you work the event)? Contact Mark Frye at mjfrye86@comcast.net

Band Student Accounts Explained
In English y en español
Every Timber Creek Band program student has a unique "Student Account" where we keep track of how much they owe for band
fees, how much they've raised in fundraising, etc. Periodically, Treasurer Pat Lee sends an individual report for your student to your home,
and if you know your student's number you can always check the latest balance by clicking Student Accounts in the
toolbar at the top of this page. Recently, Pat provided a letter explaining the Student Account
process and report. Here it is for download: in
English and en español (Word .doc).

Raise funds for the Band program while taking your required online driving
courses: students earn $10 for the Band by taking
