Parents and Family Making a Difference!

The Timber Creek Band Parent Organization is a wonderful group of individuals that volunteer their time and talents for the benefit of our students. Parents not only make a difference in the students' lives, but they are a necessary part in the functions of the band program. Simply put, volunteering is one of the greatest things we can do for our community.

The Band Parent Organization meets on a monthly basis, elects a board of officers, and puts in place a set of by-laws that brings structure to the Band Parent Organization. We generally meet on the first Monday evening of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the Timber Creek Performing Arts Center.

Being a "Band Parent" can be as involved as being a board member, a committee member or simply signing up to volunteer in a specific area. Please take the time to look through these volunteer opportunities to find the perfect opportunity to show off your talents and help you make a difference in your student's life and in your community.

Don't forget to fill out those OCPS "Additions" forms using the online form: you must be approved by the school district in order to volunteer. Chaperones must also print and fill out the Chaperone form and turn it in to Mr. Cox. Find both forms at the OCPS Volunteer page.
